Mr. Shalov brings over two decades of distinguished investment banking and private equity experience to his role as co-founder of DBD Investment Bank Partners. His proven track record spans multiple sectors and includes significant achievements in M&A, restructuring, and operational leadership.

Prior to co-founding DBD Investment Bank Partners, Mr. Shalov served as Managing Partner at ONEtoONE Corporate Finance USA, where he demonstrated exceptional leadership by driving the M&A, Restructuring, and Capital Formation divisions to achieve annual growth rates exceeding 100%. His strategic vision and execution capabilities transformed the firm's market position and operational effectiveness.

Mr. Shalov began his career at UBS, where he played a pivotal role in M&A transactions valued at over $20 billion. His involvement in landmark deals included the sales of Weight Watchers, Nabisco Holdings, and Nabisco's strategic acquisition of Favorite Brands. At Hampshire Equity Partners, he further distinguished himself by leading platform company acquisitions and spearheading operational expansions, notably orchestrating multiple strategic plant acquisitions for Connector Service Corporation.

His entrepreneurial acumen was demonstrated through the co-founding of a private equity and consulting firm, where his leadership of sales divisions catalyzed remarkable growth for two portfolio companies, driving them to achieve revenues of $50 million and $20 million respectively. This success underscored his ability to not only identify promising opportunities but also to execute operational improvements that deliver substantial value.

A graduate of Oberlin College, Mr. Shalov earned his B.A. in History and Economics with Phi Beta Kappa honors, reflecting his early commitment to academic excellence. Beyond his professional achievements, he is a devoted father to four children, balancing his career success with family life.
