Miss Santacruz brings a combination of financial expertise and leadership experience to her role at DBD Investment Bank, which she joined in February 2023. Her strong foundation in finance is built upon a degree in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University, where she complemented her studies with a concentration in Finance and a minor in Leadership.
Prior to joining DBD Investment Bank, Miss Santacruz developed a strong foundation in investment banking through internships at two prestigious financial institutions. At Nomura, she contributed as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst in the Financial Institutions Group (FIG), where she supported transaction and financial analysis. At Wells Fargo, she gained valuable experience in consumer lending as a Credit Card and Merchant Services intern on the Co-branded Team, broadening her knowledge of financial services and deal execution across multiple sectors.
During her time at Cornell University, Miss Santacruz distinguished herself through impactful leadership and diversity initiatives. She served as the Director of Outreach and Communications for Professional Development of Women (PDOW), an organization committed to empowering women by building multidisciplinary competencies and fostering financial literacy. Additionally, she was elected twice to the Cornell Student Assembly, where she shaped campus policies and mentored students.
Her selection as a Dyson Leadership Fellow and Dyson Diversity Scholar highlights her dedication to fostering inclusive environments and advancing leadership through collaboration. Guided by the principles of "Servant Leadership," a philosophy she continues to embrace, Miss Santacruz remains focused on driving meaningful impact in both her professional and personal endeavors.
Beyond her academic and professional achievements, Miss Santacruz is dedicated to social impact. She spearheaded a successful fundraising campaign for Second Wind Cottages, Inc., a nonprofit organization supporting homeless and at-risk individuals in Ithaca, NY, demonstrating her ability to apply her skills to meaningful community initiatives.
